Not in the UK?

Delivery by Christmas

At this stage, I cannot guarantee delivery by Christmas to addresses outside the UK. I cannot now dispatch by the Royal Mail's last recommended posting date for  delivery by Christmas

I am a UK Tupperware Manager based in London, England.  If you need Tupperware products, your best source is probably the local Tupperware sales team in your home country, but I am happy to send orders anywhere in the world.  Perhaps I have a product in my shop that you cannot get at home, or maybe there is no Tupperware sales force where you are.  You can also order from me for delivery to family or friends in the UK, or to pick up if you are visiting London.

I have happy customers in the Channel islands and the Isle of Man, at BFPO bases overseas, and also in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, USA, Venezuela and Yemen.

I do not artificially inflate delivery costs, I only charge the actual cost to me.

If you are visiting London, and you want to collect your order in person, you can use the discount code COLLECTINPERSON at Checkout and I will contact you to arrange collection.

Get a delivery quote

For most orders (up to 2kg in weight), you can get a delivery quote on the shopping cart page before you decide to order. Click "Get a delivery quote", choose your country, type your postcode or home town, then click "Get a quote".

Normally you will have just one option: International Tracked and/or Signed. I used to offer International Standard (Air Mail) and International Economy (Surface Mail), but I now only offer them for small orders worth £20 maximum. This is because the maximum compensation for undelivered packages (which was happening too often) is £20.

See below for full details about these services.

For deliveries to Italy and Malaysia, I only offer International Tracked and Signed.  I explain why in my frequent questions.

If your order weighs more than 2kg, the shipping calculator will tell you to contact me direct for a quote. This is because prices vary so much for large deliveries, and I can use specialist couriers to some countries. Also, I can treat big orders of £110+ of products as a party, and give you a discount!  Email me at andrew @ tupperwareman.co.uk [delete the spaces around the @] with a list of your items, or a screen grab of your cart, and I will email right back with your delivery options.

Why is there no cheap Surface Mail option?

Here's the story. I previously did offer Surface Mail as a delivery option for customers worldwide, but no longer.  It is cheap, and hence attractive to customers, but it is too slow for most people -- up to 12 weeks delivery by sea.

Plus, when the UK Royal Mail rebranded Surface Mail as "International Economy" a few years ago, they removed the main feature that made it useful for large, non-urgent packages: optional extra insurance and compensation above the standard £20. In my opinion, Royal Mail did this deliberately, to make International Economy an unattractive and almost unusable service, and thereby to encourage people to use more expensive and lucrative options.

In my experience, Royal Mail actually tries to hide the existence of the International Economy service! Post Office counter staff don't mention it when you ask for your delivery options for an overseas package, and some even deny it exists when you ask about it by name.  What's more, it is the only service not available through self-service counters at main Post Offices.

That's not all:  any claim for loss or damage must be done by requesting a paper claim form, while all other services have an online claim. The claim requires original proof of purchase and value, both of which most retailers need to keep for their accounts. Again, Royal Mail is making International Economy virtually unusable.

So it seems pretty clear to me that International Economy does not generate enough revenue for Royal Mail, and so they have a policy of marginalising it, and even pretending it does not exist. One day the service will be withdrawn, and Royal Mail will say it is because no-one was using it.  Well, I wonder why?

As it happens, there is another problem with offering delivery by International Economy that is not Royal Mail's fault at all. When I did offer it, I found that some customers were automatically choosing it because it was the cheapest option, disregarding my klaxon warnings about the 12-week delivery time, and about the lack of tracking and insurance. They would call me 10 days after dispatch demanding to know where their delivery is, asking for tracking details, etc.  I had a few very difficult conversations with angry customers, and had to find a nice way to remind them that they chose the 12-week service.

However, if you are genuinely happy to wait a couple of months for your Tupperware, and you accept the risk of sending your delivery without insurance or tracking, I am happy to do it for you.  Please contact me direct to discuss.

Delivery options explained

International Tracked and/or Signed

Includes tracking and full insurance up to the value of your order in case of loss or damage. I dispatch within 5-10 days, after which the package should be delivered by your local mail service within 5-7 days.  Where available in your country, delivery is signed for, and there is online delivery confirmation.

I normally use International Tracked and Signed. Some countries only support  either Tracked *or* Signed, in which case I use Tracked.

If you choose this option for deliveries in Western Europe, I sometimes use a door-to-door courier instead, with full tracking and insurance.

International Standard, International Economy

Only for small orders worth maximum £20. I dispatch within 5-10 days, after which it should be delivered by your local mail service within 5-7 days (International Standard) or 6-12 weeks (International Economy).

Comes with proof of posting, but no tracking or signature on delivery.
